HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and offers an extra large colour range (1 billion colours). TVs with HDR display razor-sharp images, vivid colours and much detail in dark zones. The best viewing distance is determined by multiplying the screen diagonal (1 inch = 2.54 cm) by 1.5-2. The recommended viewing distance for the DVL-2483BK (V2) is 3.3 to 6.6 feet / 1 to 2 meters. Optimal contrast, colour and black values The Lenco DVL-2483BK (V2) features edge lit local dimming with micro dimming. Local Dimming is a technique that improves your television’s black reproduction. Edge lit local dimming has LEDs on the edges of the screen. The advantage of this is that the TVs can remain slim. These LEDs, clustered in zones, are switched off or dimmed at certain times. Micro dimming divides the image into even more zones. For each zone, the image is optimised locally in terms of contrast and black levels. A dark scene looks extra realistic and sharp. The difference between colour and black becomes larger, making colourful images even more real. Built-in DVD player and media player Using the built-in DVD player, you can play all your DVDs and CDs.
