The network cable is a half-meter long Extralink Patchcord LAN copper cable. A LAN Patchcord is the basic element of computer networks operating in the Ethernet standard. It is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch, so that data can be transferred between them. Unshielded category 5e UTP patchcord from Extralink is terminated with shielded, gold plated RJ45 plugs. It is built of a four-wire cable, twisted pair type, made of pure copper, thanks to which it is possible to power network devices in PoE standard.
