Gigabit PoE converter
Instant 802.3af Gigabit PoE Converter allows you to convert almost any Ubiquiti® device powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) into a fully compatible 802.3af product. The device reduces the 802.3af (48V) standard voltage to 24V (Passive PoE). This converter supports transmission speeds up to 1000 Mbps and is designed for indoor use.
ESD protection
The Instant 802.3af converter provides additional ±15kV Ethernet isolation to reduce the risk of damage by ESDs or overvoltage of connected devices.
Longer cable connections
High voltage carries electricity more efficiently than low voltage because it uses less power. The Instant 802.3af PoE Gigabit Converter allows longer cable connections due to a more efficient power supply. This allows your devices to be powered even if they are far from the 802.3af switch.
Compatibility
